About Us

Meet Our Team

Eric Forst (owner/instructor) is a medical Speech-Language Pathologist, Rehabilitation Director, and Certified Dementia practitioner with 13+ years experience in various medical settings including hospitals and rehab facilities. Frustrated by the lack of local, high-quality CPR training in the Geneva/Batavia/St. Charles area, Eric reached out to his friend Mark with the idea of forming a new CPR training company to serve fellow healthcare workers as well as members of this community (and surrounding areas). As a father of two, Eric believes that there is no better way to honor and protect our community than to learn the skills necessary to act in an emergency and potentially save a life.

Mark Angeles (owner/instructor) is a Physical Therapist Assistant with over 10 years experience as both a therapist and a nursing assistant. He believes that CPR should be viewed as more than just a work requirement. He knows the true value and importance of this skill, and believes the more people he trains, the better the odds of a life one day being saved. Mark always says "Even if I do this for 30 years, and just one of my trainees saves a life - it will all be worth it."  Mark brings an energetic and fun attitude to training, which makes learning CPR much more effective.  Mark is fluent in both English and Tagalog.

As a complete novice to CPR course, the online training was intimidating so after completing it (full disclosure - I took twice as long as the expected time!), I was dreading the practical. But Eric was a complete professional, keeping the hands-on training efficient and interesting, providing helpful tips, and boosting my confidence in my new skills. Highly recommend!

Jillian, Batavia

Had a great experience with Tri-City CPR! Scheduling was super easy and they were able to come to my business and get my staff trained. Everyone learned a lot and had fun at the same time! Thank you!

Lindsey, Saint Charles

Mark and Eric were absolutely wonderful to work with. I was able to quickly and easily set up a training with Eric, who also answered my zillion questions with kindness and professionalism. I also loved that I was able to set up at my office instead of having to travel an hour away. Mark was an excellent trainer, he kept our attention and made the training fun. I had CPR training elsewhere before, and the experience was terrible so I was nervous how it would go this time, but I will work with Mark and Eric every time in future!! Highly recommended Tri-City CPR for any initial or renewal CPR training!
